These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LandingGuide website, mobile app, content, features, notifications, booking links, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, creating an account, booking a session, or continuing to browse our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are

2. What LandingGuide Provides
LandingGuide helps people moving to, living in, or settling in the UK find practical information, organise next steps, save useful resources, browse local discovery listings, receive reminders, and access optional career-support booking links.
The Service may include guides, personalised plans, journey checklists, discovery listings, account features, notifications, profile tools, and career-support content. Some content may be tailored using the profile details, priorities, stage, and preferences you choose to provide.
3. Information Only, Not Professional Advice
The Service is provided for general information, planning, and signposting only. It is not legal, immigration, financial, tax, medical, housing, employment, or other professional advice. We do not make immigration, housing, benefits, healthcare, employment, education, or public authority decisions.
You are responsible for checking official sources, deadlines, eligibility rules, costs, and requirements before making decisions or taking action. For important decisions, you should speak to a suitably qualified professional or regulated adviser. For emergencies or urgent safety, health, or welfare issues, contact the appropriate emergency service, public authority, healthcare provider, or specialist support organisation.
4. Accounts and Eligibility
You may need an account to use some features. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have permission from a parent, guardian, or responsible adult where required by law. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
5. Profile Information and Personalisation
You may choose to provide information such as your name, email address, avatar, country, UK city, user type, stage, goals, saved resources, and priority areas. We use this information to operate the Service, personalise your experience, sync progress, provide support, and improve the product as described in our Privacy Policy.
Personalised content is based on the information available to us and may not cover every option or requirement relevant to your circumstances.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This means you must not:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or fraudulent purposes;
- attempt to access another person's account or data;
- interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the Service;

7. Discovery Listings and Third-Party Resources
Discovery listings, local resources, events, organisations, service providers, and community information may be sourced from publicly available information or third-party submissions. We try to keep listings useful, but we do not endorse, verify, or guarantee any organisation, business, service provider, event, community, opening time, price, availability, or outcome.
Third-party websites, booking pages, maps, email links, payment providers, app stores, and external resources are controlled by their own providers. Their terms, privacy policies, fees, cancellation rules, and availability may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

8. Career Support and Bookings
LandingGuide may offer career-support information or links to book one-to-one sessions. Session descriptions, availability, prices, payment terms, cancellation rules, and refund information should be checked on the relevant booking page before you book.
Career-support sessions are intended to provide practical guidance such as CV, interview, application, and workplace support. They do not guarantee a job, interview, visa result, sponsorship, salary, offer, or other outcome. Career support is not immigration or legal advice unless this is expressly stated and provided by a suitably regulated professional.
9. Payments
Some services or sessions may require payment. Where payment is required, the price and any applicable taxes, fees, cancellation rules, refund rules, and payment method will be shown before you confirm the purchase or booking.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment or booking providers. We do not usually receive or store full payment card details. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have.
10. Your Content and Feedback
You retain ownership of profile details, avatars, feedback, and other content you provide to us. You give us permission to host, process, display, and use that content as needed to operate, protect, personalise, and improve the Service.
If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback, we may use them without obligation to compensate you, provided we do not misuse your personal data.
11. Our Content and Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, text, graphics, icons, software, features, and content, belongs to LandingGuide or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, sell, license, publish, distribute, or create competing products from our content or software unless we give you written permission or the law allows it.
12. Availability and Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service useful and available, but we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, up to date, or compatible with every device or browser. We may update, suspend, withdraw, or change any part of the Service, including content, features, listings, notifications, and booking links.
13. Privacy and Notifications

We may suspend, restrict, or end your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created risk for other users or the Service, violated the law, or misused the Service. We may also remove content, disable features, or preserve records where needed for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
15. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot be excluded under consumer law.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or by our breach of these Terms. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate third-party information, third-party services, user decisions, events outside our reasonable control, or your failure to check official sources and professional advice where appropriate.
The Service is intended for personal use. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, data, or business interruption.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating the date above, publishing a notice, or contacting you through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where the law where you live gives you mandatory rights that cannot be overridden. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.
